Tony’s practice primarily focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury claims. He has also handled truck accidents, pharmaceutical claims, and biomedical-device claims.  He has a long history of success, having achieved (along with co-counsel Gregg Peppel) what is believed to be the largest verdict in Lucas County history – a $10.9 Million verdict for a woman injured due to a doctor’s negligence. He also represented the plaintiffs in the largest judgment in Wyandot County history, a $50 Million consent judgment against Buckeye Egg Farm based on nuisance.
 
Tony has been rated as a “Super Lawyer” from 2016 to 2019 by Super Lawyers® (indicating top 5% by peer review), he has been named a “Top 100” attorney in Ohio by The National Trial Lawyers®, and has repeatedly been rated as “Top 10” in Client Satisfaction in Ohio by the American Institute of Legal Counsel®. Tony is a native of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and lives in Sylvania Township with his wife, Karen, and has three children, Rebecca Grimes (Turley), Joseph, and Matthew, and two grandchildren, Carly and Lincoln.
